During Halo Infinite‘s campaign, players must enter the Repository to save The Pilot but can also find a Skull Collectible within this location. This Skull is known as the “Grunt Birthday Party Skull” and has a rather comical effect on gameplay. It will cause confetti to spray out whenever Master Chief lands a headshot on a Grunt. Like a few other secrets in Halo Infinite, the Repository Skull requires players to perform a particular action during one part of a mission, which will result in a hidden portion of the level becoming accessible later on.
Skull in Repository Location in Halo Infinite
The location of the Halo Infinite Skull in the Repository is within the area with a giant pair of half arches leading up to a small chamber. To access this room, players must activate a power mechanism connected to the entryway. The device and its power cell are located in an earlier section of the mission.

Within the Repository, players will enter a wide-open area with two bridges leading across a pit. To progress to the next section, players must press forward across the bridges. However, on each side of this room sits two doors, disconnected from the main path. First, head to the door on the right by grappling off the wall arch near it. Players will discover a hidden room with a single Power Seed. Pick up the cell and return to the main area. Keep in mind that while Master Chief will still be able to grapple, he can’t use his weapon while holding the Power Seed.
For the next step, repeat a similar procedure to get to the door on the left side by grappling across. After going through a small walkway, players will enter an empty area. A small device can be found on the far right of this room. Go to it and insert the Power Seed. Next, return to the main area and continue onward.
Halo Infinite players should proceed through the Repository until reaching a room with two large parallel arches that lead up to a hidden chamber. Grapple up and into the room to find the Grunt Birthday Party Skull. Be wary, as they are a few enemies waiting to ambush Master Chief.
Halo Infinite is available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
