Harvestella is the newest life-simulation game by Square Enix that has some fantastic RPG combat that makes the game unique. During the game, you will encounter many enemies, including some bosses. Hydolanzer is one of the early bosses and is rather challenging, so here is where to find and how to beat him in Harvestella.
Where to Find (& Beat) Hydolanzer in Harvestella
Hydolanzer is a member of the Omen that you will encounter rather early in the game. You can find this boss at the Seat of the Fall Seaslight, which is the final zone of the Higan Canyon. In case you don’t know, Higan Canyon is a dungeon located northwest of Bird’s Eye Brea. Then through the Cypress Crossing, you can find the entrance of the Seat of the Fall Seaslight.
Before you go to this location to defeat the Hydolanzer, make sure you have already unlocked the Step Fighter Skill since it is essential to defeating this boss. This skill will increase your speed of dashing, which is what you want since Hydolazner is the fast attacker.
Once you’ve reached the Seat of the Fall Seaslight, Hydolanzer will challenge you, and then the combat begins. At first, he will draw his lance and instantly perform a dash attack on you that you must be careful.
He will do more dash attacks, but this time, you can see an orange rectangular appear in the ground that shows where he will go. This makes it much easier to dodge his attacks. In his second attack, he will summon a bolt of fire by raising his lance upward toward the sky twice. In the second thrust, the ground around will burst into fire, so make sure to dodge them before the fire hits you.
His last attack is his Boss Special Technique, where Hydolanzer will draw flames into his weapon. It is best to attack Hydolanzer while he is drawing the flames to decrease the damage bar of his attack. This is where the Step Fighter Skill comes in handy.

Bear in mind that Hydolanzer is not an easy boss. So if you couldn’t defeat him on your first try or even second, don’t worry. The good thing is you can easily find the pattern of his attacks which makes the fight much simpler on the second or third try.
