Helluva Boss continues to broadcast its second season. The quality of the animation and the storyline are progressing greatly. However, many are still somewhat dissatisfied with the wide gap between episodes. Thankfully, Vivziepop decided to leave a special episode just for Halloween. Episode 10 of Helluva Boss comes packed with Ghost Busters-style action and fights against entities besides the Imps. This is a new step in the misadventures of these demonic mercenaries, and finally, a chapter focused on Millie.
This episode continues after the “break up” of Stolas and Blitzo. Although Blitzo is out of his haters’ party and has cleared things up a bit with Verosika, only in this chapter do we see how truly affected he is. A month passes, and Blitzo lives locked up in his office, swallowing things so unhealthy, even for a demon, and filling his emptiness with a trash Ghost Busters-like human show. On the other hand, Moxxie panics, trying to get out of bankruptcy, while Loona and Millie must keep everything afloat.
Fortunately, they receive a new assignment that can help the whole company get ahead: catching a ghost. This is precisely what makes Blitzo snap out of his depression, at least momentarily, so Millie decides to join him. However, in this Helluva Boss Episode 10, Millie and Blitzo will gamble their lives while debating whether the ghosts are real or not. Also, we finally get to see more of Millie’s past, how she met the rest of her teammates, and how her relationship with a depressed boss is affected. And this is just the first few minutes of the almost half-hour-long episode.
It’s another fun, irreverent episode, full of absurd violence but sprinkling a Halloween theme on top. As if the demons weren’t spooky enough already. Well, at least we have this episode while we wait several weeks for the next one.
