Nazis will be punched, slashed, shot, and blown up in 2024. Lionsgate has released the trailer for the Guy Ritchie movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which sees Henry Cavill and a group of misfits go on a secret mission to sabotage Nazi Germany (seen below). The former Witcher star is joined by Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes.
Interestingly, the film is inspired by formerly classified documents that have been released by the British War Department. It will follow a top-secret mission set up by Winston Churchill in which he formed a motley crew of combatants to sabotage the Nazi army. From what can be seen in the trailer, the true story received a fun twist with its personable characters and the joy of taking down fascists. The screenplay of the bonkers action-comedy comes from the director, Arash Amel, Eric Johnson, and Paul Tamasy, with inspirations from a book by war correspondent and military historian Damien Lewis.
The footage of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare shows the team forming and the antics of Henry Cavill and his co-stars as they mow down Nazis in explosive fashion. Tensions grow as leadership in Britain gets wary of their band of misfits.

The year will be a big one for the filmmaker. This spring will be his Netflix series The Gentleman, based on his Matthew McConaughey-led film of the same name. His signature style will dominate March and April between this upcoming film and series.
Henry Cavill will have quite the reunion for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. In fact, he returns to the director after nine years since 2015’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
