The wait was quite long, but 2XKO is finally here, and despite being on early access, there’s a lot of content for players to try, and several Champions, including a surprise one that they can use. So, if you’re thinking about whether you should jump into this fighting game now or wait a bit until launch, we’ve compiled all of the things that launched alongside early access, so you can see if now’s the right time to jump into this 2v2 fighting title.
All Early Access Content for 2XKO
For the unaware, 2XKO has officially launched on early access, and although it’s not the complete experience, it offers a lot of content for players to sink their teeth into. If you’re still unsure about what you can play right now, we’ll break down some of the game modes available during this early access period.
For starters, players will be able to jump into Season 0, which includes 11 champions, a battle pass, full access to the in-game store, adjustments to playable characters according to feedback from the closed beta tests, and several cosmetics.
In terms of game modes, you have your First Step and First Fight tutorials that reward champion tokens, combo trials that will help you get the hang of some of the characters’ moves before taking on other players, and ranked mode, which just went live.
If you’re looking for some seasonal goals, there’s also the Battle Pass that includes the Rift Quest Teemo skin, among other rewards. And if you want to spend some extra cash on some cosmetics, you can find the Starter Edition, which includes cosmetics from Arcane. Later down the road, the Crime City, Aureate, and Snow Moon mega bundles will become available and feature different skins for certain champions. You can take a look at some of them here.
All Playable Champions During Early Access
2XKO brings 11 champions to its early access launch, with one of the most recent surprises being Warwick, who got unveiled just a bit before Season 0 hit the digital shelves. Here’s the full list of playable characters:
- Ahri
- Blitzcrank
- Braum
- Darius
- Ekko
- Illaoi
- Jinx
- Teemo
- Vi
- Warwick
- Yasuo
It is important to note that many of these champions received adjustments, such as Ekko, Jinx, and Yasuo getting nerfs, and Ahri, Braum, Darius, and Vi getting some much-needed buffs.
Riot Games has confirmed that once Season 1 begins, each season will be accompanied by a new champion. So, you can save some of your champion tokens to unlock other characters once they join the roster. Beyond that, the first season of 2XKO looks quite packed, and there’s a lot of content for players to try.
