RHOBH season 12 came with a lot of drama, including a strain on Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards’ relationship. The tension between the sisters came to a head during a cast’s trip to Aspen, Colorado in a September 2022 episode. At the time, Lisa Rinna opened up about her chat with Hilton and how the latter bad-mouthed the entire cast including her sister Richards. Rinna claimed that during the chat, Hilton began to vent about her issues with Richards.
“She’s screaming she ‘made’ Kyle. Kathy’s responsible for Kyle and she said, ‘I will destroy Kyle and her family if it’s the last thing I ever do,'” Lisa alleged.
The revelation left Richards disappointed and confused about her older sister’s decision not to address their issues. However, Hilton eventually expressed regret at how she approached things, noting that she thought her conversation with Rinna was private. Nevertheless, the revelation put a strain on the sisters’ bond. Months later, Hilton revealed she wasn’t returning to RHOBH.
Kathy Hilton’s Return to RHOBH Has Conditions
After months of drama, Hilton apologized to Richards in June 2023 during a family trip to Aspen to celebrate their niece Whitney Davis’ nuptials. Six months later, it appears the sisters are still on good terms. Interestingly, the 64-year-old wouldn’t mind rejoining the show, but Kathy Hilton’s return to RHOBH is tied to Richards.
During a recent chat with The Messenger at her annual holiday pajama party, Hilton spoke about her return. She revealed:
“I’ve just finished season 2 of Paris in Love, and I think that’s up to Kyle and if it’s organic and works out. I never say no. Never say never.”
As the rumor mill continues to churn, fans eagerly await confirmation and further details about Kathy Hilton’s possible return.
