High on Life is one of the most unique games in recent memory. Squanch Games outdid itself with the writing, off-the-hook humor, and attention to detail like easter eggs. Now, it seems High on Life is coming to PlayStation consoles before the launch of its DLC, according to data found within a PS4 update.
The data can be viewed on Orbispatches, which has a database of all the updates for games, or otherwise, for PlayStation consoles. The update itself has a package size of around 10 GB, and claims to bring general bug fixes and performance improvements for the game.
Whenever this port comes out, the game will definitely see a massive boost in sales as PlayStation owners will finally have access to High on Life.
High on Life Coming to Playstation Before DLC Launch
High on Life came out in December 2022 for Xbox consoles and PC, and was also available for Game Pass subscribers at launch. The initial engagement for the game was quite impressive. Not only was it fairly well reviewed by critics, but players absolutely loved it. Most cited the characters’ charm and personality to be the main draw.
According to Microsoft, High on Life was the biggest release on Game Pass in 2022, and the best third-party game release in the subscription service’s history. Becoming the biggest single-player-only game, High on Life CEO announced the game’s DLC and confirmed that the title crossed 7.5 million players.
The DLC for High on Life is aptly named High on Knife and will take place two years after the ending of the main game. While no specific release date for the DLC has been announced, High on Life fans can expect it to launch sometime around fall 2023.
