A Texas pizza worker has gone viral after sharing footage of a heated refund dispute that escalated when a customer threw a pizza box at her. The TikTok, which has amassed millions of views, sparked widespread reactions as viewers criticized the customer’s behavior and sided with the employee.
The video comes from a relatively small private TikTok account that mainly shares short, funny videos alongside clips documenting the creator’s time behind the counter at a Texas pizza restaurant. Unlike some of her other uploads, the heated refund dispute quickly drew widespread attention online.
According to the creator, the confrontation began when a customer returned a pizza and complained that it wasn’t fresh. She says she immediately replaced it with another pizza that had just come out of the oven, before noticing the original pizza had already been partially eaten.
The TikToker claims the customer and her mother still insisted the replacement wasn’t fresh and demanded a refund. She says she called over a manager to process the refund, but alleges the situation escalated when one of the women repeatedly swore at her before throwing a pizza box in her direction.
In the footage, which is filmed by the employee behind the counter, an irate customer repeatedly yells, “Hit me!” The worker responds, “I’m not gonna hit you!” Moments later, another customer standing beside the woman picks up a pizza box and hurls it at the employee recording the encounter, knocking the camera and causing it to shake.
In the caption, the creator also alleges one of the women threatened to “whoop” her and said she would call her brother to beat her up. She added that she chose not to post the remainder of the confrontation because it included comments about her body that made her uncomfortable.

The confrontation quickly drew reactions on TikTok, where many viewers expressed concern for the employee after watching the exchange. “pls tell me you didnt get fired,” one person wrote. Another commenter claimed the employee later quit her job, while the creator also included #quit among the video’s hashtags. However, she did not explicitly state that she had resigned.
Others praised the worker for keeping her composure throughout the confrontation. After one viewer pointed out, “mind you they threw something first,” the creator replied, “RIGHTTT THEY WANTED ME TO HIT THEM SO I WOULD BE THE PROBLEM.” Another person praised the employee’s comeback, writing, “IM DEADD ‘ur hungry’ U ATE HER UP SO ABD [BAD],” while someone else joked, “‘You’re too grown for this’ followed by ‘you’re just hungry’ 😂😂.”
