People who tuned in to the previous showcase of the future of Hitman 3 can remember a few things. The pirate-themed map that released not long ago. The support for VR and a new roguelike mode that was supposed to come this year. Hitman 3 Freelancer mode is something that players have been waiting for. Now, there is good and bad news. The good news is that the Hitman 3 roguelike mode is arriving soon. The bad news is that the update will arrive next year so yes, another delay to add to the long list of delayed updates and games like Skull & Bones.
Hitman 3 Freelancer arrives on January 26, 2023, and it will be free
Another good news is that the Hitman 3 roguelike mode will be free for all that own Hitman 3. This is something amazing given the fact that we got the Seven Deadly Sins pack and some players weren’t too fond of it. We’re not sure if the free part of the update is due to this but either way, we are grateful to IO Interactive. This is something brand new for the Hitman franchise and thankfully there will be a closed test for selected people to try the Hitman 3 freelancer mode.

In their latest update to Freelancer post, IO Interactive mentioned that we’ll get more news on October 27. Beyond that, the closed technical test will happen in November along with more updates for this Hitman 3 roguelike mode. It seems that the company is working non-stop to bring a great and fresh mode to players of this game. The Hitman 3 Freelancer mode will include a fully customizable safehouse, various contracts, and all locations in the trilogy. This is something great and big to keep players coming back to the World of Assassination.
