IO Interactive has revealed that the upcoming Hitman game will be going episodic in light of recent questions brought up by fans.

The game is set for release on March 11th with the Prologue and a Paris mission for $15. Players can pick up the Italy mission in April and the Morocco mission in May for $10 apiece.

The company is planning monthly content updates with the first season ending later in 2016. Planned locations for the game include Thailand, the United States, and Japan. IO will also be providing weekly events along with extra content on top of the monthly content. You can get all the content upfront as part of “The Full Experience.” for $60. Players who want to wait will be able to pick up a disc version at the end of the year. PlayStation players will also be getting six bonus contracts.

Agent 47 is ready for his next contract.

A beta is planned for Hitman and is expected to begin on February 12th on PlayStation 4 and February 19th on PC. Purchasing either “The Full Experience” or the Intro Pack will grant you access to the beta.

“Part of that decision is for that little bit of extra time to ensure every location we release is at the quality level fitting for a Hitman game,” said studio head Hannes Seifert in the announcement. “But the main driving reason is that this will allow us to create a living game that will expand and evolve over time and establish a foundation for the future – this is the first game in a storyline which will continue and expand with future Hitman games.”
