During the quest “A Basis For Blackmail” in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to rescue Natsai from the Ashwinders, and you are given additional optional objectives, such as finding Otto Dibble’s Love Letter from Rosie. Earlier in the quest, the player protagonist was tasked with questioning several villagers in Hogsmeade, including Otto. Mr. Dibble revealed his risky secret love life with Rosie Hill, the daughter of Otto’s dangerous client, Mr. Hill. In an attempt to make sure no word of his relationship with Rosie gets out, Otto asks that you find his love letter and destroy it in Hogwarts Legacy.
To find Otto Dibble’s Love Letter in Hogwarts Legacy, you must first enter the cellar entry near the Hog’s Head Inn in Hogsmeade. For reference, the entrance can be found next to the Eye Chest and Moth Mirror on the south side of the Hog’s Head.
After infiltrating the Ashwinders’ secret lair via the secret barrel entryway in the cellar, your quest objectives for “A Basis For Blackmail” will be updated. Your primary goal is to locate Natsai, but you can also find Philbert’s book of poems and Otto Dibble’s Love Letter in Hogwarts Legacy. First, follow the stairwell down to the main chamber, where several Ashwinders are conversing. You can sneak past them using Disillusionment or fight your way through the dungeon. After reaching the corridor at the back of the upper level of the central chamber, you will discover an office with two prison cells holding Natsai and Ikso Rabe.
Using Alohomora, unlock the chest on the table and give Mr. Rabe his Wand. After the two escape their cells, head into the room to the left of the office and go through the vent passageway. Before entering the second vent, turn right and make your way through the piles of supplies and go up the wooden staircase in the following section. You can find the chest with Otto Dibble’s Love Letter in Hogwarts Legacy atop the scaffolding decorated with ragged patches of cloth.
