There are loads of quests and puzzles you must learn how to do within Hogwarts Legacy, like the Animal Symbol doors that you’ll have to open. In order to gain access to some of the many quests you’ll take on within the Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you’ll often need to pass through certain doors with puzzles on them that need to be solved before you can move on. These doors will show different animal symbols around the frame of it and a bunch of numbers in the center. Keep reading to learn how to open the animal symbol doors in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Open Animal Symbol Doors in Hogwarts Legacy
In order to solve these strange animal door puzzles, you’ll have to do a bit of math, but don’t worry; you won’t have to do too much of it. Using the cipher shown above, you have to determine the number amounts of each animal that surrounds the door frame, then make sure that the number within the center of the door matches the numbers displayed by the animals.
So, within each triangle, the animals shown on all 3 corners must add up to the number shown in the center of the triangle. You’ll have to figure this out for each triangle shown. If you look around, there should be two different panels near each door. Each of these panels changes the animal within one of the triangles on the door you are trying to solve. All you have to do is change the animal in each triangle using the panels near the door, and you will be on your way in no time.
Keep in mind: If you cannot find the panel you need, use your Revelio spell to reveal them, as they may be in a different room.
Hogwarts Legacy Animal Door Numbers
When you are ready to solve an animal symbol door, you’ll need to make sure you have the Field Guide page that displays the number of each animal. If you haven’t already found it, you can do so by heading to the Divination classroom. Up the stairs there, you will find some wooden rafters, where you can find a chest that contains the Field Guide page. Once you’ve found it, it will show the following:
