Sales of the Hogwarts Legacy game have been crazy; at every turn. We all see the video game by either by someone talking about it on their social media or an advertisement on a YouTube video for it. But that isn’t the only thing that people are buying. The game is only available on next-gen consoles, meaning PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game won’t be ready for older consoles or the Nintendo Switch until July. So companies are actually selling more consoles just for Hogwarts Legacy.

There have been many videos posted on social media of people running out to retailers before closing to buy a PS5 to play the Hogwarts Legacy game, especially since you get some bonuses for playing on the Sony console. Fans don’t want to wait to play the new game on their old console on April 4th, or even the Nintendo Switch won’t be released on July 25th. So not only is Hogwarts Legacy making a lot of sales, but console sales are also going up with it, and this will probably grow over the next few weeks.
For fans who might be on the fence about buying a new console to play Hogwarts Legacy, it is really worth it. Not only are the graphics outstanding, but it runs very smoothly on the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S versus the PC. Not to mention you can get either of these consoles and spend just a little extra money to have access to a library of more games for free with your subscription, so the gaming possibilities seem endless.
