Back in 2014, one of the coolest features of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the high-tech optics and suits that were used to show your equipment status as part of the game’s HUD. This was all thanks to the advanced technology of the Atlas Corporations, and well, seems like we can use some of that in MW3 as well. With the addition of BAL-27 assault rifle to MW3 and Warzone in Season 3 Reloaded, we can now unlock and use the Advanced Warfare optic in these games.
Unlock Advanced Warfare Optic Guide
To unlock the Advanced Warfare optic in MW3 and Warzone, all you have to do is level up your BAL-27 to level 3. This is after you’ve unlocked the BAL-27 assault rifle, of course, which is a part of the new section 23 that’s been added to the Season 3 Reloaded Battle Pass.
Now this optic won’t give you any weapon stats upgrades like the ADS speed or aiming stability. But it’s cool to see your weapon’s ammo status right in front of you, making it easier to determine your reload decisions while in combat.
It’s noteworthy that the Advanced Warfare optic, which is called the AW Gen.1 Optic, is available for every other weapon in MW3 and Warzone as soon as you unlock it. This optic was mistaken with the JAK Glassless aftermarket part a few months ago.
With all the AW references and Atlas Corporations mentioned in MW3, it’s safe to assume that we might see more relations in the future. Advanced Warfare 2, maybe? Or probably the game is supposed to be canon to the current MW and Black Ops story timeline. However, if any of these were about to happen, it’d probably be in the year 2025 or 2026, as 2024 is already reserved for Black Ops VI as we know it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are currently available to play on PS5, PS4,
