Since Holocure was inspired by Vampire Survivors, there are many similarities in both games. It applies to both the item system and stats. Each character has a specific set of stats that you can increase in various ways. However, some stats like Haste can be a little confusing for Holocure players. And you shouldn’t ignore it, as Haste can significantly increase your character’s DPS during the runs.
What Does Haste Do in Holocure?
By upgrading stats in the Holocure Shop, you can find the Haste stat, which is described as increasing attack speed, but in reality, it is a little different from what you think. First of all, it would be more correct to say that this stat increases the speed at which your attack works. In other words, your attacks “hit” faster, but the pauses between them remain the same since the Haste stat does not affect the attack delay or cooldown.
Also, the Haste stat can affect some skills in Holocure. Such skills will be triggered with increased frequency depending on how high the Haste stat is. But you should know that not all attacks can become lightning fast. Some attacks may ignore this Haste stat, while others will not become faster than a certain point. And it’s worth noting that any attack in the game cannot hit faster than once per frame.
How To Increase Haste Stat
The easiest way to increase your Haste stat in Holocure is HoloCoins investing. Just open the Shop, go to the Stat Upgrades tab, and spend everything on Haste. Then, you need to start running and look for these items:
- The Candy Kingdom Sweets – Increases Haste by 40-60% depending on level, but reduces your base damage. There is also a small chance you can do a double attack and deal 33% damage.
- Energy Drink – Increases Haste by 10-20% and SPD by 40-60% depending on the level but reduces your HP.
- Face Mask – Increases Haste by 10% your damage by 1.3, but you take more damage.
- Super Energy Drink – Increases Haste by 30% and SPD by 60%.
That’s all you need to know about the Haste stat in Holocure. It can significantly increase your character’s attack speed, but you must consider all the nuances of this stat. In the meantime, please take a look at our guide on how to get the Couch Potato Achievement.
