Holocure is a fun bullet hell with tons of characters, items, and weapons. You need to use all of these to clear the stages from hordes of enemies. But if it seems to you that you have already done everything possible in the game, we recommend that you pay attention to the achievements. Some of them can be near-impossible challenges, such as Couch Potato, which requires you not to move for the entire run. Sounds complicated, doesn’t it? So, read on to find out how to clear a stage without moving and get the Couch Potato achievement in Holocure.

Holocure has about 120 achievements that can reward you with new items and HoloCoins. And as we said, some of them can be very complex. But with the right strategy, you can get every one of them, including Couch Potato.

Couch Potato is a Holocure achievement for which you can get 10,000 HoloCoins. To complete it, you just need to clear any Stage Mode without a single movement. For games like Holocure, moving is the key to your survival. Therefore, to survive standing still, you will need to prepare.

How to Clear Stage Without Moving in Holocure

First of all, you need to earn more HoloCoins to upgrade such stats as Health, Defense, Regeneration, Crit, and Special Cooldown and Skill Damage. Then you must unlock characters with the right skills and starting weapons, as not all idols will be able to complete the Couch Potato achievement. We recommend that you choose one of these characters:

  • Anya Melfissa – She’s the perfect idol for Couch Potato as her skills slow down enemies, regen her HP, and reduce damage taken while she is standing still. Also, her Cutting Deep skill increases Pick Up Range, which is the key to survival.
  • Nanashi Mumei – Her special skill can destroy all enemies in sight. In addition, she can increase ATK and restore HP.
  • Tsukumo Sana – She is also suitable for this challenge thanks to a special skill that makes her invincible to all attacks, deals damage to all enemies, and collects all the EXP in sight.

Now, after you’ve decided on a character, you need to choose a stage for Couch Potato achievement in Holocure. Grassy Plains is the best option as the enemies are quite weak there. Then you must try to survive and gain experience. It is also worth noting that not all weapons and items will suit you. You need something that can deal damage around you and, most importantly, inside you.

Many weapons have hitboxes outside of your character, which can be fatal during non-moving survival. Therefore, we recommend that you use the following equipment:

  • Plushie
  • Spider Cooking
  • Holobomb
  • Knightly Milk
  • Breastplate
  • Headphones
  • Bandaid
  • Body Pillow
  • Chicken’s Feather

You can also use other items that will help you survive and deal a lot of damage. But since a lot depends on luck, you may need several attempts. We also recommend that you purchase a Rerrol for the level-up.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Couch Potato achievement in Holocure. It is one of the hardest challenges in the game, so follow our tips to complete it. In the meantime, take a look at our guide on how to pet Bubba.
