HoYoverse has been busy lately with the Planarcadia arc for Honkai: Star Rail, wrapping up Nod-Krai for Genshin Impact, and the debut of Roscaelifer in Zenless Zone Zero. Still, we’re about to get another experience that many players have been waiting for. Today, HoYoverse unveiled that the next closed beta for Honkai: Nexus Anima is on the way, kicking off on July 9. Registrations are now open, and the test will run on several platforms, meaning that many may get the chance to try this brand-new creature-collecting installment.

Honkai: Nexus Anima Launches Its ‘Evolution Test’ on July 9

For those who don’t know, we got huge news today about Honkai: Nexus Anima. First, and the one we’ve talked about the most, is the “Evolution Test,” or closed beta test. This one is launching on July 9 for PC, iOS, and Android, and you can pre-register now by following this link.

HoYoverse has also announced that players will be able to try new and improved characters, as well as new Anima, regions, gameplay systems, and much more. However, like other tests, this one will wipe all data, so you will have to start over once the game officially launches. Still, it is a great way to get your feet wet with this new creature-collecting adventure before its release date.

On top of that, Honkai: Nexus Anima also released new gameplay footage, with several changes that lucky travelers will be able to try out. You can see several before-and-after clips in the video, and the changes are monumental. Some areas have been refined, while others have drastically changed without losing the game’s style. Also, many characters have received some redesigns, which, so far, players are loving.

Also, we got a closer look at combat and how Anima and their companions will work as a team. It seems like you’ll be able to cast some of your characters’ abilities during a fight, as we saw in the trailer, which showed Blade, Kiana, and many more.

Remember, if you’re looking forward to the test, you can head to the game’s official site and register now. While not many might make it into the test, those who do will be among the first to try out this new formula in the Honkai universe, as well as meet some familiar and new faces alongside their cute and powerful Anima.
