Honkai Star Rail turned out to be a bigger success than anyone anticipated. While many thought Genshin Impact would remain the biggest HoYoverse game, Honkai Star Rail is on its way to being one of the most successful due to everything the company has learned. After a few updates and a bit of waiting, Honkai Star Rail finally has a release date on PS5.
Honkai Star Rail Sets a Release Date on PS5 for October 11
On October 11, players worldwide will join the Astral Express Crew and take it to the stars as Honkai Star Rail is finally hitting PS5. While we already saw a lot of console gameplay, it’s nice to finally have an exact release date for the PS5 version of Honkai Star Rail.
It’s uncertain if there’ll be any rewards for those joining their adventure for the first time on console, but knowing HoYoverse, it wouldn’t be too crazy to expect that. We hope new Trailblazers get a nice amount of Stellar Jade to pull for any of the beautiful cast members of this game.

If that wasn’t enough, Honkai Star Rail is about to see the debut of two new characters during its 1.3 version. Fu Xuan and Lynx are coming and will be a great addition to those lacking any Tank or Healer. While it’s uncertain if their banner will last until the release date of the PS5 version of Honkai Star Rail, we hope the developers make a re-run so console players can attempt to get them. Meanwhile, those who want to play on all platforms can finish some of the game’s events before they leave. Most reward a huge amount of Stellar Jade, which you should get to obtain new characters.
