This weekend was one of the best for Honkai: Star Rail fans around the world. For starters, we had the fantastic concert that celebrated the two years of this interstellar journey. Even The Herta stepped onto the stage to fire someone; it was truly amazing. However, there were even more surprises for fans who were interested in something more than just the concert. Honkai: Star Rail finally unveiled the two characters coming with the Fate collab. Archer and Saber will be joining the roster, with the latter having a unique design and one of the best we’ve seen. And the cherry on top of it all? We also got a teaser for the new Honkai game.
Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works Launches on July 11
In case you missed the official announcement, we’ve attached the video above of the whole concert with the timestamp for the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate reveal. Still, we recommend watching the whole show because it was fantastic. Yet, if you only want to know more about the new characters, two will join the ranks on July 11.
Saber will be a 5-star Wind character following the Path of Destruction. On the other hand, Archer will be a 5-star Hunt character following the Path of the Hunt. Of the two, Archer will be free for all players who log in during the event, while Saber will be obtainable through the Event Warp. Also, for true Fate fans, the design of both characters comes from the legendary Mr. Takashi Takeuchi, and the story of this event is under the supervision of Mr. Kinoko Nasu. In other words, you should expect something faithful for fans of the Fate series.
A New Honkai Game Is Coming
Last but not least, HoYoverse teased a new Honkai game. There aren’t a lot of details yet, but we got a teaser of it (you can also watch it on the timestamped video we attached above). In the short clip, Kiana from Honkai Impact and Blade from Honkai: Star Rail seem to be battling each other with the help of creatures. Some players are already speculating about this new Honkai adventure being a creature-collector with battles, but it’s just speculation. Regardless, we’re just happy to see our beloved Kiana again, and we never expected Blade to be there, but it is nice to see the stoic Stellaron Hunter doing something fun.
In any case, the upcoming months will be great for Honkai: Star Rail and Fate fans. So, stay tuned for more updates on the collab and upcoming game, and for the former, remember to save your Stellar Jade if you want to bring one of Fate’s most iconic servants home.
