Completing the Kafka Companion Quest in Honkai Star Rail
You can complete the Kafka Companion Quest in Honkai Star Rail by defeating roaming enemies, Cloud Knights, and Yanqing while answering Kafka’s questions. To start the quest, you must answer Kafka’s message on the phone and meet her at the Divination Commission. The exact location is shown on the above map. Below are the steps you need to follow.
- Talk to Kafka
- Defeat roaming enemies.
- Answer the first question of Kafka.
- Defeat Cloud Knights.
- Ask the first question from Kafka.
- Defeat enemies again.
- Answer the second question of Kafka.
- Ask the second question from Kafka.
- Fight Yanqing.
- Talk with Kafka and Blade.
1. Talking to Kalfka
Once you reach the location, you will meet Kafka and get two choices. You can either refuse to help and walk away or accept her request. You must be careful with the answers since they will change the quest outcome. If you decide not to help her, you can choose the leave option repeatedly as the answer to the first dialog with her. Eventually, you get the final choice to leave her. The Kafka Companion Quest will be completed and will grant you rewards.
However, if you choose to help her, you must complete a series of tasks to complete the quest, as mentioned above.
2. Defeating Roaming Enemies
Some enemies are roaming around, and if you choose to help her, she will ask you to defeat them while she deals with Blades’ situation. You must defeat these enemies in two locations, and they will appear on the mini-map.
3. Answering the First Question of Kafka

Once you meet Kafka again, you can ask her the first question of Truth and Lies. Again there are multiple options for you to choose from. But it does not affect the gameplay.
6. Defeating Enemies
Here, you have two options. You can battle and defeat these enemies or avoid the battle. If you choose to prevent the fight, you must solve two puzzles. However, the easiest way is to defeat enemies since solving puzzles takes time. This time, you also have to beat them twice.
7. Answering and Asking the Second Questions
Then, you have to answer the second question of the game, and after that, you can ask a question from Kafka. When answering the question, you can either be truthful to the game rules or break them. However, as in previous questions, it does not affect anything. 8. Fighting Cloud Knight Lieutenant Yanqing
