Sunday’s fans will likely have to wait longer for any news about this Halovian. However, if you are one of those who want characters like Tingyun or Yukong, this is your moment. Honkai Star Rail shared new drip marketing of another Foxian, this time a pink-haired male character named Jiaoqiu. Needless to say, many players are more than surprised by the unexpected twist with the new characters of Xianzhou Alliance. The surprise twist? Jiaoqiu is not what you might expect. However, the next part of the story will leave Penacony and return to the Flagships led by Lan. This could be the time for Jiaoqiu to make a dramatic entrance.
After Yunli’s appearance, many expected her to be a Fire element character. Although it was not so, Jiaoqiu’s drip marketing shows that he will be a Fire element character in Honkai Star Rail, but what is more surprising is that his Path is Nihility. This is a unique twist for a character described as a healer. This Foxian hails from a prestigious family of alchemists, which has granted him the opportunity to experiment with medicines and other remedies. Another unexpected feature is that the Trailblazer could be in contact with characters from other Hexafleet ships, as Jiaoqiu comes from Xianzhou Yaoqing, not Xianzhou Zhuming like Yunli. This revelation raises the question of what kind of conflict the Xianzhou Alliance and the Astral Express might face to need at least three of their ships.
If you want to know more about Jiaoqiu, his English voice actor is Mark Whitten. This same actor was in charge of voice acting for Kyojuro Rengoku from Demon Slayer and Kaedehara Kazuha from Genshin Impact. We are still in the last stage of Penacony in version 2.3, but we will see what else Honkai Star Rail has planned with the return of the Xianzhou in future updates. In the meantime, we already have a clear view of who will be the main characters soon.
