Leaks are not a new concept in the gaming world. Just recently, Rockstar accidentally leaked the metadata for Red Dead Redemption on PC in a routine launcher update. Now, it looks as though the ESRB is the one accidentally leaking information. You can find the unofficial announcement for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on PS5 and PC on their website.
Horizon Zero Dawn is the first installment in the Horizon franchise, and follows protagonist Aloy through a mechanical and brutal future. Sony has since released the game on PC as part of an effort to bring more PlayStation titles to the platform. However, since its release, there hasn’t been a remastered version of the game, just a Complete Edition containing all of the available content.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Links Are Available to Visit
The ESRB link that hosts the information is barren of any photos or videos, though there the rating summary and platforms are available. There is also information as to why the specific rating given was chosen. After being checked, the available retailer links lead directly to the purchase link for the game on those respective websites. When you are on those pages, the link reads that it is for the remaster, though the product is unavailable. It’s unclear as to when the game will come out or if there are plans to announce it soon.
Considering the time between the launch of PlayStation games and their arrival on PC, it’s a bit of a surprise that the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is arriving at the same time as the PS5 version. Hopefully, this will be the norm for future games that Sony releases with the expectation of a PC version.
Horizon Zero Dawn is available to play on PC and PlayStation.
