Typically, people take their children to school so that they’re in a safe environment that fosters their ability to learn. In most cases, people aren’t taking advantage of those kids and taking them places they shouldn’t be. Unfortunately, that might be the reality for a North Carolina mother.
Her toddler came up to her one day and made a shocking accusation, saying that he had been taken to another school via bus and then brought back. This particular child isn’t supposed to leave the building where he is dropped off, so what explanation could the school possibly have for this?
The above video was posted to the TikTok account @babypaulij, which is run by a mother of two named Laurie. She typically posts about her family, which consists of a four-year-old toddler and a baby. In this particular video, she shares how her four-year-old came to her with some shocking information. He was apparently allowed onto a bus, where he was taken to another school and then brought back.
According to Laurie, her child isn’t supposed to leave the building where he is dropped off. So, before reaching out to a teacher who worked at the school, she reached out to the mother of a different child who goes to her son’s school. That woman allegedly revealed that her own son had made the same statement, though neither of the two is sure whether or not it’s just four-year-old talk and doesn’t mean anything.
Laurie ends the video by telling viewers that she plans to speak to the school to get to the bottom of everything going on.
North Carolina Mother’s Child Claims to Have Been Taken to a Different School
A new update has since been made, showing Laurie having confronted the school to find out exactly what had happened. After they went through security footage and spoke to different teachers, it was confirmed that no child had left the school when they weren’t supposed to. However, various commenters felt that the situation still felt strange, with one person even saying, “Air tag tile or other GPS tracker asap👏.”
To one of these people, Laurie commented, “We are definitely doing it to be safe but we have been given access to the footage of his classroom, the playground, the hallways, and the bus lot. He infact has not left the school unless it was with us or his grandparents.” It’s great that everything appeared to be a simple miscommunication. However, Laurie showed what a great mother she really is throughout.
