The aftermath of any soccer match is never a good one. While some fans can be quite peaceful and tend to celebrate in an orderly manner, others just let loose and start causing all sorts of issues. In a recent Reddit video, we can see a man attempting to harass someone who’s recording them, but out of nowhere, a horse enters the stage to slam the problematic man. While many thought it would be “neigh” impossible to de-escalate the situation, this four-legged hero proved otherwise.
According to our sleuthing skills and looking around on Reddit, the horse that slammed the man was part of the mounted police during a soccer team match, Real Madrid vs. Dortmund. In the video, we can see how the man approaches the one filming in a bit of an intimidating manner, screaming, “What’s the problem?” The situation quickly stops as the horse slams the man mercilessly. Naturally, many people shared their thoughts on the matter.
Others saw the opportunity to create all sorts of equestrian puns and dad jokes.
It’s nice to see the man didn’t try to buck against the horse. The strength behind these animals is wild, and it’s nice to see he wasn’t really hurt, at least physically; his pride might be another thing entirely. Also, it seems that the people who were recording were nice enough to make him notice his phone was on the ground. Fortunately, the horse didn’t step on it. After all, the horse was just doing its job and not trying to “rein” on the parade.
In a way, the troublemaker should be thankful that the horse didn’t really hurt him. In addition, it’s pleasant knowing that the mounted police are on top of all of these things. Again, soccer matches tend to get quite passionate, and whenever the audience gets out of hand, things can escalate quickly. Luckily, we have four-legged heroes ready to solve any problems that arise.
