The Rubber Armor set is exceptionally good against lightning, an annoying aspect in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. By equipping the unique set, Link can resist lightning damage. It provides more freedom and time to explore the game’s distinctive world without concerns about lightning. Similar to other armor sets, the Rubber Armor set has three components, including Rubber Armor, Rubber Tights, and Rubber Helm. We will dive deep into how to get the Rubber Armor Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

To acquire the Rubber Armor, you need to visit the Whistling Hill Cave located in Hyrule Field just North of the Teniten Shrine. Refer to the map to locate the cave entrance, which is initially blocked by a breakable wall. Destroy the wall to gain access. Once inside, collect the Bomb Flowers, as you will encounter multiple breakable walls throughout the cave. The precise coordinates are -0083, -1040, 0019.

In the first room, make your way to the back and cut through the vines to descend deeper into the cave. Before descending, be sure to Ultrahand the Bomb Flower. As you proceed downwards, you will face three skeletal moblins, fight and defeat them. Move on to the next room, where you’ll find two ledges. One ledge holds a chest, while the other has a rock-like thing throwing Like Likes. The latter ledge is the way to the Rubber Armor.

Fight and get past the Like Likes. Keep moving until you reach another breakable wall. Destroy it to reveal a room with a foe hanging from the wall. Behind this enemy, you’ll find another breakable wall. Break it open to uncover a chest containing the coveted Rubber Armor in the game.

To acquire the Rubber Tights, you need to visit the Horon Lagoon Cave located in the Lanayru Sea. Refer to the map for its exact location. You can use the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower as a starting point and head northeast.

Once you reach the location, you will see the cave, which is a hole in the ground that leads to a water body directly under it. Dive into the hole and land in the water. Inside the cave, you will encounter a single Horriblin. Once the Horriblin is down, pay attention to the water level in the area. Swim when the water is at its highest to navigate over spikes and progress through the first room.

In the second room, you will notice a breakable wall at the back and an island in the middle of the water. Wait for the water level to rise and swim to the top of the island. Use a Bomb Flower to break the wall, opening a new passage. Swim through the newly opened hole, and there, you will find a chest containing the Rubber Tights.

To acquire the Rubber Helm, you need to visit the Sarjon Woods Cave in West Necluda. Refer to the map above for its precise location. You can use the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower to glide to this area.

Once you arrive in the area, you’ll find the cave on the ground near the river. You will also notice an NPC nearby who is also searching for the cave. The cave itself is straightforward to navigate. Simply swim to the back, being mindful of the Horriblins clinging to the walls. Dispatch them with arrows to make them fall into the water. Follow the water current until you reach a waterfall, and continue downstream until you spot the chest located at the very rear of the cave. Open the chest to get the Rubber Helm.

That covers all three components and their location on the vast map. Now, you can collect them and complete the Rubber Armor Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
