Want to know how good Blade in Honkai Star Rail is? Honkai Star Rail already had quite a few memorable characters at launch. But with each update, there are more and more of them. For example, in Version 1.2, Blade was added to the game as a playable character. He has a rather mysterious backstory and unusual skills. So, read on to find out why you should pull for Blade in Honkai Star Rail.
Is Blade Worth It?
Blade is a swordsman who abandoned his body to the blade. It seems that once upon a time he was a skilled person who forge many different marvels. However, he had to be on the verge of death many times before he became Blade. Apart from that, this silent character looks very cool, so if you are building a harem in Honkai Star Rail, you should pull him as soon as possible.
However, a pretty face is far from the only good thing about Blade in Honkai Star Rail. He is also a good damage dealer, as he can deal massive damage to one or more targets in exchange for his HP. It is not surprising since he follows the path of Destruction. Also, all of his attacks deal Wind damage:
- Shard Sword – Basic single-target attack.
- Hellscape – This skill takes some of Blade’s health and changes Shard Sword to Forest of Swords for three turns. Also, this skill does not end Blade’s turn.
- Forest of Swords – Deals massive damage to multiple targets in exchange for a portion of Blade’s health.
- Death Sentence – Blade’s ultimate that also deals damage to multiple targets in exchange for 50% of health. Damage increases based on your Max HP, ATK, and how much damage you’ve taken before.
- Shuhu’s Gift – This talent allows Blade to gain stacks every time his health is reduced. Charges stacks regardless of whether Blade uses skills or simply takes damage from enemies. Upon reaching 5 charges, Blade will perform a follow-up attack.
- Karma Wind – At the beginning of the fight, Blade can immediately attack all enemies on the field in exchange for 20% of his health.
As you can see, all of this character’s abilities consume his HP. Therefore, you will need a healer in your team, such as Luocha. Therefore, you will have to change the team and strategy quite a lot to play this character. However, the amount of damage Blade can deal is worth it all.
That’s all you need to know about whether it is worth pulling for Blade in Honkai Star Rail. He is one of the strongest damage dealers in the game, so we recommend you get him. And besides, he is pretty handsome. In the meantime, take a look at our guide on how to get Yukong for Free.
