The Five Nights at Freddy’s games are known for their multiple endings, and players wonder how many endings are in FNAF Security Breach Ruin. The horror franchise released its last title, Security Breach, in 2021, developed by Steel Wool Studios. Ruin is the free DLC for Security Breach, released on July 25. The DLC focuses on a new character and campaign. The new story is connected to the main Security Breach narrative, yet it comes with new endings that could be considered canon.

The main Security Breach story is about a young boy named Gregory, who gets trapped in Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex mall. He teams up with a malfunctioning Freddy Fazbear animatronic to hide from other animatronics and escape the mall. Ruin stars a girl named Cassie, Gregory’s friend, who comes to the mall to find him.

Whereas the main Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach title has six endings, Ruin only has three endings: Scooper, Fredbear, and a normal ending.

How Do You Get the Normal Ending in FNAF Ruin?

How thoroughly you follow Gregory’s directions at the end determines what kind of ending you get. A mechanical monster known as the Mimic chases after you in the game’s closing moments. Gregory will direct you where to go as you run from The Mimic via a walkie-talkie.

If you follow Gregory’s instructions precisely, you will receive the Normal Ending. Cassie makes it to an elevator and escapes the Mimic. However, Gregory apologizes to Cassie and cuts the elevator line, dropping Cassie to the bottom. Her fate is left ambiguous.

How Do You Get the Scooper Ending?

You need to have completed all the mini-games in FNAF Security Breach Ruin to unlock the Scooper ending. Rather than follow Gregory’s instructions, you take a left when you pass the green rocks on the floor. Cassie makes it to the control room and activates the Scooper. The Mimic attacks the window, but the Scooper grabs it and pulls it away.

How Do You Get the Fazbear Ending?

The Fazbear Ending is more tricky to get in FNAF Ruin. When you’re running away from The Mimic, stop once you reach the green rocks on the floor. Turn around and spot the cardboard cut-out of the cartoon Freddy Fazbear. Walk up to the cardboard and put on the Vanny Mask.

After choosing the Vanny option, you will see an animation of Gregory, toy Freddy, and Vanessa happily hanging outside and eating ice cream. Gregory tells Cassie she’s safe. This ending is a homage to the three-star Princess Quest Ending from the main Security Breach game.
