The Floating Ring Ruin is a peculiar place in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. A lot of players who have been to Kakariko Village have had a hard time accessing the area in the game. The village and other Ring Ruin areas are open for exploration without restrictions, but once you reach the floating Ring Ruins, a man named Calip will intervene and reprimand you. There are various methods players have tried, like different Zonai Devices, but none of them seems to work. Let’s see how you can access the Floating Ring Ruin in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Get Into Floating Ring Ruin in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Floating Ring Ruin is located on the northern side of the Kakariko Village. Once you reach there, you will find the area is protected by red fences. The Calip will guard the area and will not let you trespass into it. If you try methods like flying in the area using your glider, the Calip will still catch you upon making contact with the premises. The most annoying part is that the game will automatically spawn you in front of the Calip when you try to sneak in. It’s not like a stealth mission after all.

If you cannot get inside the floating Ring Ruin area, there’s no way you can do it at the current stage of your game. You need to progress further in the game’s storyline. First, you need to start the Find the Fifth Sage quest and complete the Regional Phenomena quest, which will ask you to check out the four unique regions of Hyrule. Once you do that, you will get access to the Secret of the Ring Ruins quest. After beginning the Secret of the Ring Ruins quest, you will have access to the Floating Ring Ruin area.
