How To Access the Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2

Won’t be forgotten for long.

Remnant 2 has surpassed its predecessor, Remnant: From the Ashes, in many ways, and it continues to get better with new content additions. The first DLC expansion the game received was The Awakened King, which took place in Losomn. The latest Remnant 2 DLC addition is The Forgotten Kingdom, based on a lost tribe in Yaesha, and it isn’t exactly straightforward to start, so here’s how to access the new content.

Unlike normal single-player games, there’s no obvious way to start the DLC like through a menu. And before you try to, know that, you can’t start the Forgotten Kingdom while you’re in the middle of another campaign. Instead, you’ll have to finish it first, and then start a new campaign and visit Yaesha. Since the game is procedurally generated, getting the new content is completely random.

But if you don’t want to reroll your campaign just to play the DLC, you can start a One Shot adventure and retain your campaign progress as well. If you have already visited Yaesha and gone through it, the instructions below should sound familiar. Follow these steps to access the Remnant 2 Forgotten Kingdom DLC without losing your campaign progress:

  • Go to Ward 13
  • Activate the World Stone
  • Go to World Settings
  • Find and click “Reroll Adventure Mode”
  • You should now be able to see a “The Forgotten Kingdom One Shot” option
  • Select your difficulty level

The new content puts you in a new location with brand-new and powerful gear, new enemy types, and more. For anyone who has played through Remnant 2 along with the first DLC, this is a sizable addition to the game that you can sink your teeth into.

And that’s it. Now you should be able to play through the whole expansion as a one-shot adventure. You might end up replaying it in the Yaesha biome when playing adventure mode, and it won’t be the same due to the procedural generation.
