Where to find Charizard’s 7-Star Teraincursion in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
The Black Crystal corresponding to Charizard’s 7-Star Teraincursion can appear randomly in our game at any point on the map. Therefore, we will have to look at it carefully to see if it has appeared.
How To Beat 7-Star Charizard Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
The best Pokémon to beat Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is Flutter Mane, the primal Misdreavus exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet.
Pre Battle
- Have a Flutter Mane: At least level 84 with maxed-out HP and Special Attacks. In addition, it must have the Fairy Tera-type.
- Equip Furious Cloak: This will prevent us from suffering secondary effects from the opponent’s attacks, such as Confusion or Burns.
- Set up the right moveset: Drain Kiss, Lunar Force, Fake Cry, and Peace of Mind. Flutter Mane learns Lunar Force at level 84; the other three are learned via MT.
During Battle
The key to beat Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is to go in and nerf Charizard’s Special Defense two levels using Fake Cry.
Suppose we use it three times before it eliminates the harmful effects. In that case, we will reduce its Special Defense by six levels, the minimum possible in combat.
Suppose we are several players with this particular build of Flutter Mane. In that case, one can focus on nerfing and the other on hitting hard with Magic Shine.

If our health drops below acceptable minimums, we use Kiss Drain. We will inflict pretty decent damage and recover quite a bit of health.
Flutter Mane’s Paleosynthesis ability will be activated as soon as Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet uses Sunny Day. This multiplies by 1.5 the Special Attack and by 1.3 the rest of the attributes of our Flutter Mane. In other words: it makes us stronger.
The Furious Cloak prevents us from suffering adverse status effects such as Confusion and Burn, which could otherwise ruin the Teraincursion.
Peace of Mind increases Special Attacks and Special Defense by one level. So we can use it without fear if we are in good health and if Charizard decides to eliminate its damaging effects constantly.
Suppose we hit with three Kiss Drain or Magic Shine. In that case, we use Teracrystallization without thinking about it to increase our stats.
Strategy to beat Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, summarized
- Lower Charizard’s Special Defense with Fake Cry
- Increase our Special Attack and Special Defense with Peace of Mind
- Use Magic Shine to deal damage.
- If we lack health, we use Drain Kiss.
