Even though only one month has passed since the start of 2023, we have already seen some fantastic games. Hi-Fi Rush, the rhythm action game made by Tango Gameworks that was released without marketing, quickly found its fan base, and many players praised the game for its engaging combat and funny tone. In the game, you will have to face many different bosses. Kale, the head of Vandelay industries, is the final boss of Hi-Fi Rush, and here is how to beat him in the game.
How to Beat Kale in Hi-Fi Rush
Kale, the final boss of Hi-Fi Rush, is probably the most challenging boss fight you will face. Not only he has a series of complex attacks, but he has five different stages. The first one is relatively easy since all you have to do is control 808 and dodge Kale’s attack by jumping in the air. Once you got near him, press the X button on our controller to beat him. You will have to do this twice, and then you will take control of Chai once again.
Once the second stage starts, you will fight him like other bosses. Like Mimosa, Kale is also shielded, which means you have to beat him to break the shield and then hit him with a good combo to deal real damage.
As mentioned above, Kale has a series of complex attacks. One of the first attacks Kale uses is calling down electricity around him. Once you’ve seen the green circle around him, make sure you are far away from it.
Then there is another form of this attack, that circles will appear around Chai. First, the circle is green, and eventually, the red circle will appear and grow. Once the red circle gets big, dodge it so you won’t be hit.
As you are dodging his attacks, call in Peppermint to shoot him. Then there is his sword attack that will you can dodge or parry, whichever suits you. You should know this attack by the flash that appears in front of him.
Then there is the dash attack, which you must dodge. Parrying it is hard, but if you can pull it off, then his shield will break down quicker. The attacks you must parry are the drones that will shoot. To know the pattern of attack, focus on the flashes that appear around the drones.
Since Kale is always on the move and keeping his distance, don’t forget to use your grapple to reach him quickly.
Once you’ve managed to beat him in the second stage, the third stage will start, and Kale will upgrade himself to 4 extra arms. This is an easier stage compared to the one before.
Each of his arms will have a unique ability that you can counter and destroy by calling Macaron, Peppermint, and Korsica. Use macaron to destroy the shield attack, Peppermint for the blue shield, and Korsica for the flamethrower. As you destroy each arm, Kale will be stunned that you must deal damage.

You won’t deal with anything new at this stage. Just his attacks will get quicker. Once you’ve dealt with this stage, the parry game appears, and once you’ve completed that, Kale will be defeated.
