When you learn to beat Shaco in Tournament of Souls, you can face the other Soul Fighter, Viego. The Tournament of Souls is an exciting metagame event in League of Legends that sees Samira facing other Soul Fighters in a fighting-style battle. You will earn the right to face Shaco as you gather your Reputation Points. He’s the final step before Viego, and it stands to reason that his fight is not easy. We’ll share some tips on how you can defeat him.
Fighting Shaco in Tournament of Souls
The mayhem-loving Shaco is quite the force in Tournament of Souls on Story and Expert Mode. In Story Mode, bring the following Abilities for Samira:
- Q Ability: Level 1 | Quickshot
- W Ability: Level 2 | Back Atcha
- E Ability: Level 2 | Twilight Rush
- R Ability: Level 2 | Immortal Inferno
Patience is needed to beat the Soul Fighter Shaco in Tournament of Souls. Don’t jump to use your Abilities. You will follow an E > Q sequence for your attack, but time them right. The sequence works well when Shaco spawns his clone. You can defeat the clone and still hit Shaco with the Quickshot.
Shaco has another Ability in Tournament of Souls that can make him hard to beat. He can turn invisible. When this happens, spam your W Ability. Back Atcha will reflect damage back to Shaco and keep you temporarily safe. It’s the best way to negate damage and chip at his HP. Your R Ability is useful when you must keep Samira’s HP up.
Additional Sequence To Beat Shaco in Tournament of Souls
The above sequence requires you to keep a sharp eye on Shaco’s moves to beat him in Tournament of Souls. However, you can always practice a slightly different sequence for increased damage. Swap your Q Ability for Level 2 Piercing Precision and your W Ability for Level 1 Sky Scraper. The pair works well together as W sends Shaco airborne, and Q keeps him there longer. You can perform more combos and increase your damage output. So, your sequence will be W > Q.
You can follow this up with an E > Q sequence too. Twilight Rush and Piercing Precision play well together. Once you follow up E with Q, the sticky grenade detonates early. It will turn the average damage from the grenade into a critical strike. It’s a great way to severely damage and eventually beat Shaco in Tournament of Souls.
If you lose following one Ability setup and sequence, it won’t hurt to try out the other. Both offer a good shot at winning.
