There are many different challenges in Remnant 2, including bosses. Each of them has its own unique abilities and attacks; therefore, it might take a certain time to learn their mechanics. If you’ve faced any problem with the Nightweaver in Remnant 2, here you’ll find step-by-step instructions on how to beat this dangerous boss. On top of that, you’ll find out how this boss fights during the first and second phases and the rewards you’ll get after defeating the Nightweaver.

How to Defeat Nightweaver in Remnant 2

The former Goddess of Sleep can be found in the Tormented Asylum and you’ll need to be well-prepared before going into battle. The fight with it is divided into 2 phases and we will describe in detail the best strategy for each of them. Remember the main thing: her weak point is her glowy Heart, so always try to hit that point to deal maximum damage.

First Phase

During the first phase, you will fight Nightweaver in the courtyard, where you will have more maneuvering space, unlike in the second phase. When the fight starts, try to run to the middle of the courtyard. This will give you the opportunity to dodge her Icy Spikes attack, which she will use to fire 4 projectiles. She uses this attack at the start in most cases, so just go to the middle of the courtyard to avoid it and get a good position.

Keep in mind that she can use this attack twice in a row. Be as attentive as possible, because the boss fight requires precise control of movements and further strategy elaboration. The aggressive fighting style will be difficult for you to deal with, so try to avoid and counterattack, as Nightweaver is very skilled in both melee and ranged combat.

Here are the other attacks she uses during the first phase:

  • Spectral Lunge: The enemy leans back and then quickly lunges forward and hits with its claws.
  • Spectral Slam: If you can’t dodge, the enemy deals devastating damage by falling on you. In most cases, it combos with the previous attack.
  • Spectral Rain: The enemy deals damage with a ranged attack by shooting blue fireballs. It’s not easy to dodge, but if you correctly calculate the trajectory, you can do it.

In addition to its basic attacks, Nightweaver can release minions that have low HP and drop ammo when they die. When the enemy’s health bar reaches 0, you can proceed to the second phase. To do this, approach the body of Nightweaver, after which you will be teleported to Asylum.

Second Phase

As we mentioned above, you will have much less space to maneuver, as the second phase will take place in Asylum. Now, Nightweaver will move by crawling on the ground, but that doesn’t mean the battle will be easier. As in the previous phase, she will use powerful melee attacks, but now with a bigger range. She will often rush at you, so don’t forget to be careful and dodge in time.

Instead of being able to fly, Nightweaver now has a skill that allows her to walk through walls. When the boss is hiding in walls or stairs, she can use the Wall Pull skill, with which she will try to pull you into the wall, dealing a whopping 50% damage, or even instant death if you are low on health. To avoid this attack, stay away from walls and stairs and wait for the boss to reappear in sight.

In addition to all of the above, she will continue to summon minions, so try to stay in the lobby at all times to have more space to dodge. If you don’t want Nightweaver to be able to summon minions during the second phase, you can prevent it from doing so. During the first phase, try to deal as much damage as possible to the heart while she is spawning minions. This strategy is more complicated, but if you do it right, you’ll have an easier play in the second phase.
