In My Hero Ultra Rumble, you cannot block enemy attacks by pressing a specific button since the game does not have such a function. Similar to how it works in Fortnite, each character has a Guard Points (GP) bar that absorbs some damage automatically. This bar is a digital designation of your stamina, and its reserve can and will differ depending on the characterโ€™s specialization. But you still must dodge to save HP and GP.

It is probably worth clarifying that some heroes and villains have unique quirks that allow them to block attacks, but not everyone has such abilities. Some have to dodge attacks using high agility and speed, while others are defenseless against enemy attacks but compensate for this with monstrous strength.

How To Restore Guard Points

Even if your character has an Assault or Strike specialization and a colossal supply of GP, sooner or later, you will have to restore it:

  • Firstly, having Assault characters on your team will give you a bonus to GP regeneration.
  • The game also has Plus Ultra mechanics. During the battle, you fill the PU scale, and as soon as it reaches 100%, you will fully restore your shield.
  • While exploring the map, you can open chests inside which, in addition to character ability cards, you can find a lot of Potions. Green Potions restore HP, and blue Potions restore GP.
  • You can also find the NPC Kota Izumi. By interacting with him, you will receive the best potion that restores all the characteristics of your entire team and increases the Quirk Skill of all allies by 1.
  • Finally, after killing the enemy, approach him while it is crawling. You can finish the enemy off using a fatality, after which you will fully restore your GP bar.

  • Izuku Midoriya
  • Mt. Lady
  • Katsuki Bakugo
  • Tomura Shigaraki
  • Eijiro Kirishima
  • All Might
  • Itsuka Kendo
