Even once you learn how to breed Carillong on the Magical Sanctum island in My Singing Monsters, it won’t be the same on Seasonal Shanty. Seasonal Shanty allows players to acquire rare creatures like Carillong, a Seasonal Monster, even when it’s not the proper season. However, it will come with some special requirements. We’ll highlight everything you need to breed Carillong on their island in addition to the specialized Seasonal Monster island.
Magical Sanctum Breeding Requirements for Carillong
As a Seasonal Monster, Carillong is usually only available during the Crescendo Moon event, a seasonal activity known to happen around January. So, if you want to breed Carillong on Magical Sanctum, you can only do it around the beginning of the year. We’ll help you prepare for the season to roll around again. You will need the following combination to breed Carillong:
- Mushaboom
- Roarick
Both Mushaboom and Roarick are exclusive to Magical Sanctum. Roarick is a double-element monster, while Mushaboom is a triple-element creature. It’s not a guarantee you will breed a Seasonal Monster like Carillong on the first try on Magical Sanctum. If you nail it on the first go — perfect! If not, prepare to buckle down and breed the pair above a few more times.
Seasonal Shanty Breeding Requirements for Carillong
The only way to acquire Carillong out of season without resorting to Magical Sanctum is to breed it on Seasonal Shanty. You cannot use the same monsters as you would on Magical Sanctum. Instead, Seasonal Shanty requires the following monsters for breeding:
- Yool
- Schmoochle
Yool and Schmoochle are also Seasonal Monsters. Yool hails from the Festival of Yay, while Schmoochle comes from the Season of Love. As long as you have them, you have an average chance to breed Carillong on Seasonal Shanty rather than Magical Sanctum. Of course, it can still take some tries to get it right.
How To Keep Carillong Happy in My Singing Monsters
Once you manage to breed Carillong in My Singing Monsters on Magical Sanctum or Seasonal Shanty, happiness is essential. The best way to increase its happiness is to keep them around things they like. Whether an item or another monster, each thing is worth 25% of happiness. In Carillong’s case, they only care about one monster, with the majority of its likes being items. Consider setting Carillong up near the following:
- Crescendo Moon Path (Level 18)
- Fire Bush (Level 5)
- Travelers’ Sign (Level 7)
- Trumplite (Level 11)
- Xyster (Level 9)
