This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

My Singing Monsters’ coolest monsters you can breed are the Single Element Ethereals, but it can be a bit tricky to learn how to do so. The Single Element Ethereal monsters are some of the coolest in the game, which is likely because of how difficult they are to breed, making them harder to get than most monsters. They aren’t actually a different and specific element. They are actually a whole new monster class whose home world is Ethereal Island. Keep reading to learn how to breed your very own Single Element Ethereals in My Singing Monsters.

There are only five different monsters that you can breed that happen to be Single Element Ethereal monsters. The Five Single Element Ethereals are:

  • Ghatz
  • Grumpyre
  • Reebro
  • Jeeode
  • Humbug

In order to breed these, you’ll have to head to a natural island. At the natural island, you’ll have to breed a monster that has 4 different elements, or a quad-element monster, with a monster that has 3 elements, or a triple-element monster. The best time to do this is during an Ethereal Breeding Bonanza event.

The event boosts your chances of getting an Ethereal monster when breeding all the way up to 5%. If you do it any other time, you only have a 1% chance of getting an Ethereal monster. If you aren’t successful in breeding yourself a single-element Ethereal monster in My Singing Monsters, you will end up with a triple-element monster instead.

Due to the rarity of Single Element Ethereal monsters and the tiny success rates for breeding them, it’s best to try for one specific Ethereal from the list above rather than trying for any and all of them. The best method, I’ve found, is to breed as many possible combinations as you can that will potentially give you the Ethereal you are looking for. Before you start, be sure to load up on pairs of breeding monsters, as it can take around a day for each monster to be born or hatch.

Once you’ve bred your Single Element Ethereal monsters, feed them up to Level 15 as fast as possible and transfer them over to Ethereal Island, where they can breed and produce shards for you!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
