This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

In exploration video games, it sometimes takes work to cover so much ground and then return to your initial base with everything you’ve collected. But Lego Fortnite players have quickly discovered a way to return to their camps by taking advantage of the game’s glitches to build a teleporter. Fast travel in Lego Fortnite was outside the developers’ initial plans. But thanks to the players’ immense creativity and available time, this is a reality to avoid getting lost among so many biomes.

Before you start building your own teleporter, we recommend testing it first in a solo game in Lego Fortnite. It is a method that players can only achieve with a bug in the game, but this process can break your game. But if you still want to try this means of transportation, you will need to follow these steps:

  • Open your Building Parts Menu.
  • Go to Starter Foundation.
  • Choose the wood foundation 01 (4x4x2) and build two of these floors stacked. Other players tried with four to five Wood Foundations.
  • Cober the top wood foundation with small thrusters.
  • If you build two wood foundations, break the base wood foundation. But if you create more floors, break it all in the middle until you have only two foundations.
  • The game will allow you to push one of the foundations. If you jump on it, you will appear on the parts that you left behind.
  • You will appear at your original location if you jump on the same foundation.

The players discovered this bug recently, and so far, players have also found different effects after teleporting. For example, you can no longer walk after teleporting but can move using a dodge. If this happens to you, you can return to the main menu of Lego Fortnite and return to your game; you will appear in the position before using the teleporter. Remember, this is not ideal to use if you are playing in co-op, or it could affect the other players.

It still needs to be discovered how this glitch affects the game code; sometimes, it works, and in other cases, you can end up in an infinite loop. But now that Lego Fortnite players know about this hack, they hope the developers will add a more stable way to build and use a teleporter. Many fans consider this way of exploring quite effective and efficient for getting materials or running away from enemies.
