Roblox added a new feature that allows you to call your friends on Roblox. That means you can call everyone in your friend list both voice and video. The “Message” tab has been renamed to “Connect” to account for this new feature.
Here’s how to use Roblox Connect to call your friends on Roblox:
- Download Roblox Connect
To voice and video call your friends on Roblox, you must download Roblox Connect on your device. You can download it to iOS, Android, and Desktop devices.
- Verify Your Account
To use Roblox Connect, your account must be verified to be at least thirteen years old. You can verify your account with an ID or a phone number.
- Enable Your Mic and Camera
In the next step, you need to enable your camera and microphone. You don’t have to use both in calls at the same time. You can use your camera to animate your avatar with your movement. You can enable these from the game settings.
- Go To Your Friends List
To call someone, they must be on your friend list. Roblox has not yet introduced the feature to call for someone who is not on your list. So make sure that they are added on your account.
- Start the Call
You will see the button to initiate a call in the middle of the screen. From here you can call your friends and talk to them if they accept the call. You can’t call them if they appear offline.
