Do you want to know how to catch a Whispering Mothcarp inย Destiny 2ย Fishing Rally in the Throne World? The Season of the Deep introduced a newย fishing featureย to the game. You can get a lot of items by fishing in the game. The Whispering Mothcarp is one of the rarest catches. Many players had complained they had not even seen this fish in the game yet. So, let’s look at how to catch the Whispering Mothcarp inย Destiny 2.

You can catch a Whispering Mothcarp in theย Misama Regionย of the Throne World. This is the only location players have highlighted you can see this exotic fish. However, Whispering Mothcarp was unavailable until June 21, 2023, and some players thought it was bugged. But, once the Broken Blade of Strife quest appeared, players started to catch it.

To complete the Broken Blade of Strife quest, you must catch a Whispering Mothcarp and dunk the fish at your Aquarium in the H.E.L.M. Once you do it, you will get the Broken Blade. Then deep dive and offer the Broken Blade of Strife to the first statue. After that, you might need to wait until the next exotic fish appear.

Previously when players were trying to complete the Destiny 2 Fishing Rally in the Throne World, the only exotic fish they could catch was Kheprian Axehead. The game has three other Exotic fish: Aeonian Alpha-Betta, Vexing Placoderm, and Whispering Mothcarp.

The Fishing Rally requires you to collect 500 points from fishing. You will get 20 points for catching Exotic fish, while a Legendary fish will give you 5 points. Catching Rare and Uncommon fish will provide two points and one point, respectively. Since most exotic fish are unavailable in the game, your best bet is catching some legendary fish.

Also, the fishing feature is relatively new in Destiny 2. Players still have much to learn and explore. We can expect Bungie will release more exciting fishing content with future updates. Mainly there will be more quests related to Exotic fish.

The Whispering Mothcarp is a highly sought-after exotic fish inย Destiny 2. With the addition of the Broken Blade quest, players can now catch this rare and elusive creature to complete their challenges. Although it may take some time to find one due to its scarcity, catching this particular fish is essential for the game’s progress.ย

Whether you’re experienced or just starting your first fishing adventure, look for these mysterious creatures lurking within the depths of the Misama Region! If you still need visual guidance to complete the Broken Blade of Strife, the video below fromย 360GameTVย will help.
