Fighting bosses and unveiling mysteries of the deep blue sea will fill some of your days in Dave The Diver. But for the majority of your time, you’ll be catching fish such as the Coral Trout. This is a common fish you can find during your diving adventures in the Blue Hole. It may lack some of the bells and whistles of a Pink Dolphin or even a Giant Squid. Still, this Trout, along with other similar fish like the Harlequin Hind, will be very useful in Dave The Diver, especially if you like cooking. Here is how to catch Coral Trout in Dave The Diver.

You must dive deep into the water to get the Coral Trout in Dave The Diver. Specifically, you must descend 50 to 130m in the Blue Hole. The good news is that these are quite the common fish in the area. All you need to look for is small red fish and hit them a couple of times with your harpoon. However, do note you will have to purchase the Diving Suit Lv3 to reach the depths where the fish resides. You can buy it from the iDiver app.

The Coral Trout is usable in Dave The Diver in three different dishes, including the classic Coral Trout Sushi. You will sell them in your sushi restaurant, Bancho. Not only that, but this fish is also one of the items you will have to collect during several missions. This includes the VIP Mission called “Michael Bang’s Inspiration.” To complete it, you need three Titan Triggerfish, three Dave The Diver Harlequin Hind, and three Coral Trout. These are all found at the same depth range as the Coral Trout, which is 30 to 130m.

If you wish to all these fish at once or more Coral Trout, you must upgrade your Cargo Box. This is because the Trout weighs 3kg. This means that it will fill up your default carrying capacity with just three Trout. Upgrade your Cargo Box even further with the iDiver app. You will then be able to collect more than three Trouts or even complete the aforementioned VIP Mission in a timely manner.

Head to the depth range mentioned above, and you will find the Coral Trout and even a Harlequin Hind in Dave The Diver. Just be sure to pack up your Cargo Box and your upgraded Diving Suit, and you will be good to go.

Dave The Diver is available now on PC.
