Skiddo is a goat-like Mount Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that evolves into one of the best Grass-type pocket monsters in the game, Gogoat. This bush-covered quadrupedal mammalian possesses one of the highest HP IVs for its type and also has decent Attack and Special Attack stats, making it a strong combatant for battle. Whether Trainers are using Skiddo or Gogoat in combat, they should always make sure the opponent is a Ground-, Rock-, or Water-type pocket monster. This way, the goat-style monsters’ Grass-type attacks are highly effective. Continue reading to learn how to get and evolve Skiddo in Scarlet and Violet.
Catching and Evolving Skiddo in Scarlet & Violet
Fortunately, Trainers should not have any trouble finding Skiddo in Paldea since the goat Mount Pokémon’s habitat include the entire lower half of the world map in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. As long as players do not search Casseroya Lake or Glaseado Mountain, they should eventually run into a Wild Skiddo.

How To Evolve Gible And Gabite In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet
Similar to how Croagunk evolves into Toxicroak in Scarlet and Violet, Skiddo must reach a specific level to transform into Gogoat. More specifically, Trainers must advance the small bush goat’s level to 32, after which the evolution will occur automatically. Leveling can be done through grinding Wild Pokémon encounters and Trainer Battles or feeding the pocket monster an abundance of EXP Candy. Whatever the case, Skiddo will evolve into Gogoat without fail after it attains Level 32. Additionally, it should be noted that catching Skiddo has a chance of granting players a Skiddo Leaf. This leaf can be used to craft two particular TM recipes: Giga Drain and Frenzy Plant.
According to Game8, players can craft Giga Drain by collecting procure 3 Hoppip Leaves, 3 Skiddo Leaves, and three Capsakid Seeds. Like Skiddo in Scarlet and Violet, Hoppip can also be found in the southern portion of Paldea, but only around the sections surrounding Lost Platos. On the other hand, Capsakid lives primarily on the western side of the world map. Next, Frenzy Plant is crafted using 5 Skiddo Leaves and 8 Tropius Leaves. Tropius is a pocket monster that Trainers will likely encounter once they have reached the latter half of the game, as it lives around the maps’ upper-left corner region of Casseroya Lake. Similar to its appearance, Tropius prefers to live near green areas with trees and shrubbery.
