Palia has two large locations that you can explore over time. Moreover, various animals, fish, and insects spawn in each of them. Therefore, it may be difficult for many players to find the Fire Breathing Dragonfly.

This item only spawns in Kilima Valley. Luckily, you don’t have to wait for a specific time of day for this. So once you’re ready, all you have to do is check out a few areas to find the Fire Breathing Dragonfly in Palia:

  • Family Farm
  • Mirror Fields
  • Mirror Pond Ruins

Just look around these areas, and you will find the insects you need. The Fire Breathing Dragonfly can be easily distinguished from other Dragonflies by its orange and red colors. Also, for catching one of these, you can get up to 7 Silk Threads.

How to Catch Fire Breathing Dragonfly in Palia

Like other insects in Palia, the Fire Breathing Dragonfly won’t let you catch it easily. If you try to run up to it, it will immediately fly away from you. Therefore, you will need a special tool, namely the Belt.

You can get it by progressing through the story quests. This Belt can carry Smoke Bombs, which can be used against insects. But don’t worry; Bombs are completely safe as they only temporarily stun your targets.

Therefore, you only need to throw a few of these Bombs at the Fire Breathing Dragonfly to stun it. After that, the insect will lie down on the ground to rest, and you can pick it up without any problems. This way, you can farm this type of Dragonfly without any issues.
