Do you want to know how to catch Slakoth in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Slakoth is a Normal-type Pokémon known for its laidback attitude and sleepy nature. Also known as the Slacker Pokemon, it’s typically found in the warm climates of its native region – Hoenn. It’s pretty tall with a brown color to its body and a friendly tone of voice.

You can Catch Slakoth in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in the Paldea South Eastern area. Since they are rare spawns, you might have to check on many trees before finding one. Once you have found the one, you may have to use the Dash ability of Koraidon to bring it down to the ground.

Slakoth’s true power lies in its Truant ability, where it willingly takes turns off instead of acting on its turn. As one might expect, this Pokemon loves taking naps and has been known to sleep whole days at a time! Evolving from Slakoth into Vigoroth will reveal the hidden potential this lazy monster possesses, showing that while it may seem slow and unmotivated now, given the proper training, it can become quite powerful!

Instead of catching it, you can also get Slakoth by breeding Vigoroth with a Ditto. Here are the steps you need to follow.

  1. Catch a Vigoroth in the wild.
  2. Catch a Ditto.
  3. Take both Pokémon to a Picnic and leave them there for around five to ten minutes.
  4. Then check the Basket for an Egg, and you will probably find one.
  5. Hatch the Egg to get your very own Slakoth.

Following these steps, you can easily catch a Slakoth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Make sure you take good care of and nurture it, as this will help it evolve into a powerful Vigoroth! Good luck with your Slakoth-catching adventures!
