In monster-catching games, sometimes, collecting cool monsters or your favorite ones isn’t enough. You also need to grab some powerful monsters to tackle tougher challenges or quickly expand your base. While many strong Pals are roaming around Palpagos Island, there is one exploit that lets you catch hidden ones early. Yep, there is a glitch that actually lets you catch Tower Bosses Pals in Palworld.

Before we get to the nitty-gritty detail though, keep in mind that the Tower Boss catching glitch has been patched out. This method no longer works per the February 27, 2024, Version 0.1.5.0 update. Nevertheless, if you are still playing on a lower version of the game, the glitch can still be performed.

Basically, you will want to abuse the Wanted system and force the PIDF Officers to spawn inside the Tower in order to catch the bosses. First, you must do the crime of killing villagers in front of a PIDF Officer or attacking them. The easiest place to test this is by heading to the Small Settlements (75, -479) at Windswept Hills.

Once you’re wanted by the private long arm of the law, quickly go to Rayne Syndicate’s Tower (113, -431). We suggest you catch one flying Pal such as a Nitewing and have made its harness so you can ride it before attempting this method. Once you reach the Tower, enter the boss arena; you’ll soon realize that the Officers will also spawn inside.

At this point, you just need to make sure the Officers shot the Tower Boss. The easiest way to do so is by making the boss stand between you and the PIDF. When that happens, the boss will suddenly run away to the edge of the arena and stand around doing nothing. This is your chance– throw a Pal Sphere and you’ll catch them both. Yep, both the Pal and the Tower Boss riding it!

Unfortunately, catching them won’t count as completing the Tower, so you’ll be stuck inside. Simply select the Respawn option from the menu to get out. The best thing about the catch Palworld Tower Bosses glitch is that they have a bloated HP bar, making them very tanky. Aside from that, the boss will also show up on top of the Pal and you can repeat this method as often as you’d like. Don’t worry, the villagers in the Settlements will appear again as well, so don’t feel too bad killing them.

To recap, this is how Tower Boss catch glitch in Palworld works:

  1. Get spotted doing a crime and wanted by a PIDF Officer.
  2. Head to the nearest Tower Boss. We recommend riding Flying Pals like Nitewing or Elphidran.
  3. Start the boss fight.
  4. Ensure the boss got shot by PIDF Officers who spawned in the arena.
  5. The boss will walk to the edge of the arena and do nothing, catch them from behind.
  6. The boss and their Pal will be added to the Palbox list.

Don’t forget that playing at Version 0.1.5.0 or higher will invalidate this exploit. If you need to farm a powerful and legit Pal though, we have the guide on catching and breeding Reindrix.

Palworld is available on Xbox consoles and PC.
