A Call in the Depths is one of the toughest side adventures players can try to complete in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While exploring the Depths, you may come across a mysterious statue that requires you to run some errands. The game won’t tell you where to look or how to start the quest, but don’t fret. This guide will explain how to complete A Call from the Depths quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

To start this quest properly, you must head back to a location that should be near and dear to anybody who played Breath of the Wild. The Great Plateau is where this quest begins in earnest. Before you start, make sure you have the Paraglider unlocked.

Head to these map coordinates in the Great Plateau region. -0570, -1520, and 0020. You will see a massive rock wall with water pouring out. Use a bomb or a blunt weapon to smash the rocks and release the water. This will trigger a voice instructing you to head towards the castle ruins to the North. This will begin the A Call from the Depths quest.

When you get to the castle, a statue will speak to you. It will give you a mission to gather four of its eyes and throw them into nearby Chasms. Head to each of the four locations on the Great Plateau to seek out these mysterious eyes. Use the map below to reference each section accordingly.

Location 1

When you arrive here, the mountain will be full of ice-filled structures. Thaw the ice structures to find the eye, then toss it down the Chasm nearby. A flame emitter attached to a shield makes a great ice-melting tool.

Location 2

When arriving at this Chasm, pay special attention to the small creek nearby. The eye you need is at the bottom of this creek. Use the Ultrahand ability to pull the eye out of the water and toss it into the Chasm nearby.

Location 3

When you arrive here, you will see a pile of rocks embedded into a wall. Shatter these with a bomb or blunt club weapon to break them down. The eye will under the rubble, grab it, and give it a good heave.

Location 4

This Chasm will be high up a mountain. We recommend that you use the Ascend power to reach it. Once you do, use Recall on the fallen rock near the water. When the rock flies into the sly, run and grab the eye from its resting place. Toss it in to begin the next step of the quest.

Now, you must dive into each Chasm and take the eye you dropped into each one to the Bargaining Statue located in the Great Abandoned Central Mine. The coordinates for this area are -821, -1940, and 0523. For this part of the quest, you can tackle it in various ways. Each eye you through down the Chasm will land near a convenient pile of Zonai devices that you can make vehicles out of. Attach the eye to whatever vehicle you create with Ultrahand and transport them individually to the Bargainer Statue.

Carefully slot each eye into the four slots on the statue’s head to free it from its slumber. It will then grant you a free Heart or Stamina upgrade. After your choice, you will then complete A Call from the Depths questline. The quest being over doesn’t mean you’re done with the statue. It will let you trade Poe resources for unique items and powerful armor sets, such as Dark Armor and Depths armor. Now that you know how to complete A Call from the Depths, take advantage of this statue’s great rewards.
