How To Complete a Flying Metal Nuisance in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The latest expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley titled A Rift in Time is now available for players to enjoy. Same as before, there are several new characters joining the game like Jafar as well as new quests to complete. The Flying Metal Nuisance is one of these quests that players may struggle with completing, so here is how to finish the quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Flying Metal Nuisance Walkthrough

In A Rift in Time expansion, you will get most of your quests, at least at the beginning, from Jafar, the villain of Aladdin. The quest starts with giving you the task of searching for the “flying metal nuisance.” In case you haven’t figured it out already, Jafar is mentioning Eve from Wall-E who is near the docks.

Cross the wooden bridge and use your pickaxe to break the rocks. If you go here before completing the previous quests, you won’t be able to break the rocks since the upgrade to do that is locked behind the quests given by Jafar. Eve is standing in front of the Royal Hourglass, protecting it. After you try to speak with her, you’ll quickly realize it’s not working so you must return to Jafar.

Use any Hologram Station that is near you to speak with Jafar. He will explain to you that Eve is protecting the Royal Hourglass because you said it to her when you were still a child and now she doesn’t recognize you. Now, you’ll be tasked with searching Eve’s house for more clues.

Eve’s house is a BNL spaceship that is located on the left side of The Docks, south of where Eve was standing. Go inside the house and break the plastic piles you see. Eventually, a photo will drop on the floor, which you must pick up. It shows a photo of Eve and another robot near a table and in the background, you can see a waterfall. Remember the waterfall since we will come back to that.

Now that you have the photo, once again head to a Hologram Station and speak with Jafar about what you have found. He will then ask you to find the location in that photo you found. This is where the waterfall will help you find this place. The waterfall is located just before the bridge that leads to Eve’s position.

Simply go around it, smash the rocks, and go inside. Then turn left and open the chest to get the Robot Helmet and Robot Top. Use your inventory menu to equip this outfit and then speak with Eve. Despite that, Eve is still not convinced this is you and then you’ll be tasked with cooking the dish, Best Fish Forever. But in order to do that you need Goofy’s Stall. Where is Goofy’s Stall? Well, it’s actually broken and you have to fix it.

How to Unlock Goofy’s Stall in Ancient’s Landing

To unlock Goofy’s Stall you must find the broken half of the sign. Use the wooden bridge to cross and then turn right just before the stone stairs. You will see two wooden stalls and on the one on the right side, you will find the missing broken half. If you struggled with any of the tasks until now, we recommend watching Maeow’s video as well:

Then find Goofy and give him the sign. Once you’ve done that, he will lead you back to the stall, and the Give Me a Sign quest will begin. All you have to do is gather 12 Plastic Scraps that can be fished in the ocean and 25 Copper that can be mined from rocks.

Once you’ve gathered the required materials, speak with Goofy again. Now you can go back to the stall in order to unlock it. With Goofy’s Stall unlocked you can now prepare the Best Fish Forever dish for Eve. To make this dish you’ll need:

• Robot Fish: Can be fished in the Docks.
• Cumin: Grows near your home in Eternity Isle.
• Celery: The seeds can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall which will take 10 minutes to grow.
• Sea Snail: Pretty rare ingredient that can be fished in the Docks and Overlook

Once you’ve gathered the ingredients, find yourself a cooking station and cook Eve the Best Fish Forever. After you give Eve the dish, The Flying Metal Nuisance will be complete and you will gain access to the Royal Hourglass.
