The Deal With The Devil DMZ mission is a Shadow Company task in Season 5. This assignment is unlike any other you have experienced in this game mode. You have to go forth and make a deal with an enemy commander. Just like what we saw in the Warzone 2 and MW2 Season 5 cinematic cutscene, Alex and Farrah shaking hands with commander Philip Graves. For this mission, however, you must find a Disguise and the Scavenger’s Buy Station in DMZ. Want to know how? Let the Shadow himself guide you here in The Nerd Stash.

  • Find and Equip a Disguise.
  • Buy an item from the Scavenger’s buy station.

This Shadow Company mission is tasking you to blend in with the enemy soldiers. In other words, you must find the Disguise field upgrade and equip it near the Scavenger. Do you remember the Scavenger? The boss from the second Season of DMZ and Warzone 2? Well, we got work to do with him in Season 5. Let’s begin.

Where To Find a Disguise in DMZ

You can find the Disguise item as ground loot in DMZ. However, there’s no certain location where to find this item. You can look for the Disguise in the duffel bags, loot boxes, and inside the Strongholds. Wearing a Disguise is like Night Vision goggles. You need to choose it from your backpack and then select equipment.

A bonus tip in this regard; you’ll have the chance to find this item on the east side of Ashika Island. Near the shipwrecks, look for duffel bags on the ships and the shore. You may find a Disguise in the area marked in the image above for the Deal With The Devil DMZ Mission.

Where Is the Scavenger’s Buy Station in DMZ

The Scavenger’s Buy Station is located around the area that this commander patrols. If you find the Scavenger in DMZ, you’ll see him with his guards, moving around the dead bodies of other operators. However, if you activate the Disguise and blend in, you’ll always find a portable Buy Station near this commander. This is a Buy Station, just like the other ones you encounter on the map.

Now to complete the Deal With The Devil DMZ mission, you have to buy something from this Buy Station. Buy a Self Revive, a Killstreak, or anything that you can afford. After that, the mission will be complete.

  • You can complete this mission much easier on the small map of Ashika Island.
  • To find the Scavenger boss, you can start completing Secure Intel contracts. These contracts will mark the location of the enemy commander on your tactical map. However, the Scavenger will arrive on the scene only after some enemy operators are killed.
  • When using the Disguise, don’t act strange near the AIs. They’re a bunch of NPCs, but they can still detect you. If you shoot, open doors, and do stuff like running close to them, you’ll be detected.
  • After you’ve bought something from the Scavenger’s Buy Station, the Deal With The Devil mission is complete. Afterward, you can kill the enemy AI on sight, including the Scavenger himself.
