Disney Dreamlight Valley is the game that every fan of Disney characters wanted for a long time. As time passes, the game gets new content including new characters with fresh questlines. In the A Rift in Time expansion, Eve was one of the new characters added to the game. In this guide, we’ll cover how to complete Directive Danger in Disney Dreamlight Valley and also unlock Eve.

If you have been playing DDV for the last couple of months, then you already know that accessing the questline of each character requires that character to be unlocked first. First find and speak with Merlin to guide you to the Dream Castle and lead you towards the Stardust Port. Once inside, use the boat to reach the Eternity Isle.

Once you’ve reached the Eternity Isle, you must complete the Flying Metal Nuisance quest to progress. We have already covered how to complete that quest, so make sure to check it out if you get stuck. Once you complete that quest, you will get the Royal Hourglass tool that is required to complete the Directive Danger quest.

Now that you have unlocked Eve, you can start the Directive Danger quest. Before starting this quest, however, it is important to know that you won’t be able to complete this quest fully if you haven’t completed the Sand in the Hourglass quest. That quest will unlock another area of the map that you must go to complete the Directive Danger quest.

When you get the quest, Eve will ask you to take pictures of a few things which are:

  • A giant tree with hanging lanterns. (Located near Ancient Landing’s Wishing Well)
  • The wooden boat you arrived in.
  • A giant statue faces in a hallway. (Located between two huge pillars near the Ancient Gate)
  • A strange sunken doorway between two waterfalls.

The first three things can be found quite easily, but the last one is a bit tricky to figure out. To find this sunken doorway, move past Eve’s house to see a pool. There will be a half-submerged door inside the pool which you must take a picture of. Bring the photos back to Eve to progress through the quest.

Then Eve will once again task you with taking pictures of certain people and things. But most of them are located in the Glittering Dunes which can only be accessed after completing the Sand in the Hourglass quest. Here are the pictures you must take:

  • A lady with long, braided blond hair. (Rapunzel, located in Wild Tangle)
  • A misplaced boat high up in the jungle. (Located in the Grasslands region of Wild Tangle)
  • A plant with very pointy teeth. (Can be found in the Wild Tangle))
  • A man with an impossibly thick neck. (Gaston, located in the Glittering Dunes)
  • A snake. (Located in Glittering Dunes)
  • A waterfall of sand. (Located in Glittering Dunes)

Bring the newly taken photos to Eve to complete the Directive Danger quest. With the new expansion of DDV, we publish new content and guides every day, so make sure you check our website regularly. In case you couldn’t find these things to take pictures of we recommend watching the Quick Tips video for further guidance:
