The Disarming Presence DMZ mission is the last objective for the Phalanx faction in Tier-1. In order to complete this mission, you need to pick 4 ISO Hemlock assault rifles and drop some of them in a dead drop. Now this is something that you can only do in the new Vondel map since you can not find any enemy AIs using this AR in Al-Mazrah or Ashika Island. However, this guide will show you the best and proper way to complete this mission. Let’s begin!
What Are The Objectives of The Disarming Presence DMZ Mission?
- Dead Drop 10 ISO Hemlock weapons.
- Kill 10 targets using an ISO Hemlock weapon.
- Exfil with an ISO Hemlock weapon in the same deployment.
The mission is simple on paper, but it gets really tricky as you would need to find 3 same weapons. Now to start, you need to bring in an ISO Hemlock weapon, deploy it in Vondel, and get near one of this map’s Dead Drops. You can see them marked on the image above, and any of them would work for the Disarming Presence DMZ mission in Season 4.
Once you’re near a Dead Drop in the Vondel map, start killing bots. Kill them, and look over their corpses for an ISO Hemlock. This weapon might be in the position of any of them, and you need to put three of them in a Dead Drop. But remember, you should do this mission one step at a time. If you pick an ISO Hemlock and then pick another one, it’ll only count as extra ammo. Make sure to Dead Drop the weapons one by one, and after you’ve dropped three, you’re ready to go.

Now all you have to do is to get your own custom ISO Hemlock at hand and exfil safely. You should have already killed 10 enemies using an ISO Hemlock. If not, remember to do so to complete the Disarming Presence DMZ mission’s second objective. Also, you should know that there’s another quick way to complete this mission.
For this second quick way of doing this mission, you need to have 2 other friends in your squad. Ask your friends to bring an ISO Hemlock AR with them and deploy it in Vondel. Now you already have 3 ISO Hemlock assault rifles, and you only have to find one more to complete your mission!
And there you have it! The second Tier of the Phalanx faction missions will unlock after you complete this mission. And you’ll also gain the Honor And Glory weapon blueprint and 10K worth of XP to level up faster.
