Want to know how to complete Eldin’s Colossal Fossil side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? As you progress through Tears of the Kingdom, you can try on many professions, from adventurer and cook to builder and cupid. So why not replenish the arsenal by trying yourself as a restorer of ancient relics? To accept Eldin’s Colossal Fossil side quest, you must travel northeast of Death Mountain to Deep Akkala. Get to the easternmost part of this location, get out on the road, and go north. Once you get to the crossroads on the road, take the right path until you meet a girl named Loone. You can also fast-travel to Jochi-iu Shrine and take the road down to get to this point. Next, you must talk to Loone to accept Eldin’s Colossal Fossil quest.

Talking with Loone, you will learn about the colossal skeleton of an ancient creature lying north of Hyrule. And although Loone has long been fond of archeology, she won’t be able to restore the relic without your help. To complete Eldin’s Colossal Fossil side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must travel to Hyrule North and make cosmetic changes to the ancient creature’s skeleton. Here’s how to do it.

  • Head north of Eldin Mountain to the game world edge. The quest marker will help you get there, but you can also fast-travel to the Mayak Shrine and head east a bit.

  • Reaching the skeleton, approach its head and go under the bones. After that, you will see a large round eye stuck in the rock. So you can use a fused sword with a stone or an arrow with a Bomb Flower to get the ancient eye out of the rock.
  • After that, use the Ultrahand ability to grab the petrified eye and place it in the skeleton’s eye socket.
